CoolantIQ™

“Your coolant is drifting. You just can’t see it yet.”

Manual Coolant Checks
Are Quietly Draining
Your Shop.

Most shops rely on an operator eyeballing the sump once a day — if they remember. That single reading drives tool failures, part scrap, bacterial growth, and unplanned downtime. The cost is real. It’s just invisible.

01
💧
Water Evaporation
Evaporation lowers sump level and raises coolant concentration simultaneously — creating process drift that compounds across every shift. Most shops don't even track it.
02
Manual Checks
Time-consuming, repetitive, and operator-dependent across every machine. Checks get skipped. Readings vary by person. And one measurement per day can't catch intra-shift drift.
03
⚠️
Cost & Quality Risk
Incorrect mixing drives concentrate waste, accelerated tool wear, bacterial odor, and rejected parts — costs that stay hidden until something goes wrong.
CoolantIQ™ Self-Check Questionnaire

Do You Have a
Coolant-Management Problem?

Use this self-check to see whether daily coolant tasks are consuming labor, creating drift, or hiding process risk. Check each statement that applies to your operation.

Manual Work & Visibility
Operators manually check Brix or coolant concentration every day.
Sumps are topped off manually with a bucket, hose, or jug.
Different operators handle coolant differently by shift or machine.
You do not have a real-time view of sump level, Brix, and additions by machine.
Coolant checks stop or slow down when the shop is busy.
Process Drift & Cost
Concentration changes after evaporation, weekends, or unattended periods.
Coolant is over-mixed to avoid running below target concentration.
Tool life, surface finish, odor, or rejected parts have been linked to coolant condition.
You do not know how much water and concentrate each machine uses.
Coolant problems are usually discovered after they have already created a cost.

0 – 2
Monitor
Baseline may be relatively controlled. Keep tracking consistency and watch for drift over time.
3 – 5
Action Needed
Coolant management is likely consuming labor and creating process variation across your machines.
6+
High-Value Automation Candidate
Closed-loop control may meaningfully recover time, reduce waste, and improve consistency across your floor.
💡
CoolantIQ™ turns these checks into continuous measurement, automatic correction, and dashboard visibility — per machine.
If three or more boxes apply, you likely have a measurable coolant-management burden worth addressing before it impacts labor, coolant spend, tool life, or part quality.

What CoolantIQ™ Controls
Sump Level
Automatically replenishes water lost to evaporation — no operator input.
Concentration
An inline refractometer, accurate to 0.2%, reads concentration continuously. CoolantIQ doses concentrate automatically to keep it on target.
Consumption Data
Tracks water added, concentrate added, sump level, and coolant trends through the cloud dashboard. Full visibility from phone, tablet, or computer.
How It Works
Step 01
Deploy
Roll the mobile cart to the machine. Connect two hoses. Plug into 110 VAC. No centralized plumbing, no facility modifications. Retrofit compatible with any CNC sump — setup in ~30 minutes.
Step 02
Measure
The inline refractometer reads coolant concentration continuously to 0.2% accuracy. The system also tracks sump level, flow, temperature, and tank status — real data, not a daily guess.
Step 04
Report
Dashboard data, trends, and alerts let operators manage coolant without daily guesswork. Full visibility from phone, tablet, or computer — with text and email alerts when action is needed.
Step 03
Correct
Water replaces evaporation; concentrate is dosed when Brix is below target. Closed-loop — fully automatic.

Critical Feature

Built-In
Water Buffer

The onboard water tank acts as a safety buffer between facility water pressure and the machine sump. It supports automatic water replenishment while reducing the risk of overflow. In many applications, the tank holds enough fresh water to cover normal evaporation for an unattended period.

CoolantIQ™

Remove the Coolant-Management
Headache.

Manual coolant management quietly drains labor, concentrate, tool life, and uptime — across every machine, every shift. CoolantIQ™ is the mobile, closed-loop system that addresses each one, automatically.

Labor Reduction
No more daily refractometer checks, bucket fills, or manual top-offs. Operators spend their time machining, not managing coolant.
🧪
Lower Coolant Spend
Precise closed-loop dosing ends the over-mixing operators rely on to “stay safe” — cutting concentrate waste and unnecessary top-off.
🔪
Longer Tool Life
Concentration drift accelerates tool wear. Stable Brix, maintained automatically, supports consistent cutting performance and extends tool life.
📈
Process Consistency
Stable level and Brix mean consistent surface finish and fewer rejected parts — machine to machine, shift to shift. No more operator-dependent variation.
Less Downtime & Overflow
Continuous monitoring catches drift before it becomes a stoppage, and automated level control eliminates the overflows and spills that halt production.
💧
Longer Coolant Life
Automatic evaporation control and stable chemistry keep coolant cleaner longer — extending change intervals and lowering disposal cost.
Designed to Pay for Itself

Why We Built It

The System That
Was Missing.

Coolant management has always forced a trade-off. You could monitor, or you could dose. You could manage water level, or you could manage concentration. Every existing approach solves part of the problem — but no single system did it all, at the machine, automatically. So we built the one that brings it together.

🔬
Manual Refractometer Checks
✓ Accurate concentration reading — in the moment
But it’s a single daily snapshot taken by hand. It misses the drift that happens between readings, varies by operator, and gets skipped when the shop is busy.
Measurement Only
🧪
Standalone Auto-Dosing Units
✓ Maintains concentration automatically
But it doesn’t manage water level or evaporation — the very thing that drives concentration off target in the first place. Half the loop is still manual.
Dosing Only
🏭
Central Coolant Delivery Systems
✓ Strong for volume and facility-wide supply
But it requires plumbing and infrastructure, treats coolant in bulk, and doesn’t measure or control each machine individually. Per-machine precision isn’t the design goal.
Centralized
🚰
Basic Top-Off & Refill Devices
✓ Keeps the sump from running low
But it’s blind to concentration — adding water or premix without measuring Brix. It solves level, but can actually make concentration drift worse.
Level Only
The CoolantIQ™ Answer

Everything a Complete Solution Needs — Unified.

We didn’t set out to beat any one of these approaches. We set out to build the system that does what all of them do — together, at the machine, automatically. Every capability a shop actually needs, in a single mobile cart:

Inline refractometer measurement — 0.2% Brix accuracy, continuous
Closed-loop concentrate dosing to target
Automatic water & evaporation management
Per-machine mobility — no plumbing, ~30-min setup
Sump level sensing & built-in water buffer
Cloud dashboard, trends & alerts — 1 to 100 machines
The missing intelligence
in modern machining.

The Right Partners
Are Already in the Shop.

We are actively recruiting distribution partners in four categories. If your team is already talking to CNC shops about consumables, tooling, or machines — CoolantIQ is a natural conversation to add.
